Fur Armors are the best choice if you need something to keep you save from the environment, especially the high regain of heat makes them very useful. What they lack in armor rating compared to Leather Armor they make up as Tortoise Armors with their Power Hit reduction. All basic and basic padded Fur Coats are level 1, adding the Giant Tortoise Shell adds a level restriction to the armor (Lvl 1 Rabbit, Lvl 2 Racoon, Lvl .3 Sabretooth, Lvl 4 Bear). Padded Armors prevent you from getting wet in the rain.
